The weekly status report nobody reads but everyone requires

Same structure every week, different facts. Once the structure is written down properly one time, producing it is a matter of pasting in the week's notes and checking what comes back.

Was: an hour every Friday. Now: about eight minutes, most of it reading.

2 of 7

The forty-page document you need two things from

Not summarising it, which produces mush. Asking it specific questions and making it point at where each answer came from, so you can verify it yourself.

Was: an afternoon of skimming and hoping nothing was missed.

3 of 7

The email you rewrite six times because the tone is wrong

Declining something. Chasing a late payment. Disagreeing with someone senior. Three versions at different levels of directness beats staring at a blank draft.

4 of 7

The spreadsheet somebody exported badly

Inconsistent dates, names in four formats, merged cells. This is the one that surprises people, because it looks like it needs formulas.

Was: two hours of find-and-replace.

5 of 7

Meeting notes that turn into actual follow-ups

Decisions, owners and dates written before you've left the room, instead of three days later from memory.

6 of 7

The first draft of anything

Not the final version. The blank page. A rough draft you can react to gets you to a good final version faster than starting from nothing.

7 of 7

Explaining your own work to a different audience

Detailed to executive summary, technical to plain English. This is where most people end up saving the most time, and it's the one nobody thinks to try.

The pattern behind all 7

Every item on that list is repetitive, structured, and something you already know how to do — just slowly. That's the whole selection rule. It isn't a list of clever tricks; it's a list of candidates.

If you can describe the task to a new colleague in two minutes, it's a candidate. If you can't, it isn't — yet.

If you want the structured version

You can stop after course one.

Common questions

Isn't all of this free somewhere?

Yes. So is every language, every instrument and every trade. People still pay for the version that's in order, has an ending, and doesn't ask them to work out what comes next. You're paying for sequence, not information.

I'm not technical at all. Is that a problem?

It's the assumption the whole program is built on. If you can write an email, you can do every course in it. No code, no terminal, no API keys, nothing to install.

How much time does it take?

Two to three hours a month. That's the reason for the monthly release: it's paced so you finish, rather than binge two courses and forget the rest.

What happens if I cancel early?

You keep the courses released so far and the billing stops. Permanent access applies after the tenth payment. {{VENDOR: confirm the exact policy}}
